France stocks mixed at close of trade; CAC 40 down 0.01% By Investing.com

Investing.com – France stocks were mixed after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Paris, the declined 0.01%, while the index gained 0.01%.

The best performers of the session on the were Atos SE (PA:), which rose 3.71% or 2.12 points to trade at 59.32 at the close. Meanwhile, WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS:) added 2.87% or 1.98 points to end at 70.90 and Worldline SA (PA:) was up 2.37% or 1.70 points to 73.43 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were ArcelorMittal SA (AS:), which fell 1.43% or 0.35 points to trade at 24.42 at the close. Hermes International SCA (PA:) declined 1.35% or 13.00 points to end at 951.40 and Renault SA (PA:) was down 1.27% or 0.48 points to 37.70.

The top performers on the SBF 120 were Electricite de France SA (PA:) which rose 10.47% to 12.40, Air France KLM SA (PA:) which was up 5.06% to settle at 5.48 and Atos SE (PA:) which gained 3.71% to close at 59.32.

The worst performers were Solutions 30 SE (PA:) which was down 14.16% to 12.06 in late trade, Mcphy Energy (PA:) which lost 3.97% to settle at 32.90 and Technip Energies BV (PA:) which was down 3.31% to 12.11 at the close.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 310 to 301 and 70 ended unchanged.

The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0% to 18.96 a new 3-months low.

Gold Futures for June delivery was down 0.05% or 0.90 to $1742.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May fell 1.85% or 1.10 to hit $58.23 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract fell 1.63% or 1.02 to trade at $61.72 a barrel.

EUR/USD was up 0.12% to 1.1889, while EUR/GBP rose 0.63% to 0.8642.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 92.308.
