Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.42%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CSE:DSV), which rose 2.28% or 22.4 points to trade at 1007.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 1.26% or 7.6 points to end at 612.2 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 0.63% or 0.7 points to 103.5 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 4.55% or 10.7 points to trade at 224.3 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:) declined 3.09% or 15.7 points to end at 492.3 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 1.67% or 3.5 points to 205.6.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 66 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.29% or 1.04 to $44.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.71% or 0.82 to hit $47.06 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.75% or 31.15 to trade at $1812.05 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.71% to 6.1956, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4440.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 91.547.
