Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Industrial Investment and Insurance sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.17% to hit a new 52-week high.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (SE:4191), which rose 10.00% or 4.40 points to trade at 48.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) added 10.00% or 3.00 points to end at 33.00 and Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company (SE:8012) was up 9.93% or 2.29 points to 25.35 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Andalus Property Co SJSC (SE:4320), which fell 1.95% or 0.42 points to trade at 21.08 at the close. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) declined 1.82% or 1.10 points to end at 59.30 and Aseer Trading Tourism&Manufacturing (SE:4080) was down 1.75% or 0.28 points to 15.72.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 148 to 46 and 8 ended unchanged.

Shares in Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 10.00% or 3.00 to 33.00. Shares in Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company (SE:8012) rose to 52-week highs; rising 9.93% or 2.29 to 25.35.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.39% or 0.18 to $45.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.03% or 0.49 to hit $48.28 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1788.10 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.44% to 4.4870, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 91.823.
